moez02 0 Posted April 3, 2008 I am going for my initial consult on Tuesday, 4/8, with Dr. Rosen in Downers Grove. I can't wait to get this show on the road. I can't wait to get contol of my life again. I can't wait to be able to wear clothing without an XX on the size tag. I have always had a struggle with my weight, since puberty. Age 13 or so. But, now that the hormones are really weird, with menapause, I can't control the weight at all. I am up 40# in the last 5 years. I am uncomfortable at this weight and need to do something about it.

ValJean 6 Posted April 10, 2008 Hello everyone, I am a Chicagoan too, just had a consultation at DayOne in the city...is anyone here familiar with them, perhaps had the surgery done there? Now that I've had the consult and am moving ahead with insurance matters, I am really eager to talk to people in the "real world" (as opposed to the patient advocates who work there, I mean). Thanks, Val
