RHS,

This is going to sound crazy but I don't have one but would really love one! I have two rescue dogs, one from Katrina and one from Puerto Rico where they stone them to death and they are too much to handle to add another dog to the mix. But I think they are the cutest dogs grown or puppy ever and one day would love to get one!

What does it say when you try to put one up? Does it say something about the file can't be accepted? If so, there may be a glitch.

If not, make sure you are choosing the avatar choice. The pic must be VERY small and 50X50.

BabyNicole,

Thanks for your response, no one else has helped! Anywho, I'llshow this to my husband and see if he can do it now. I don't even know what avatar choice is, it sounds like one of those animes my kids watch, thanks brandyII

brandyII,

sorry i was not able to help with the picture. as you can see i do not have one because i can not get it to work.

back to the bulldog your picture looks just like mine. be ready to have a lot of money. this is a very high maintenace breed. they are a lot to purchase then they have some health problems common to there breed. at 6 months old he had 4 surgeries he made it through all of them very well. but at 10 months old i have about $10,000.00 into him. they also require alot of time daily. i wish i know all of this before i got him. but i love him and would not give him up for the world.

RHS OMG, $10,000, I knew the dog would cost a few thousand to purchase but why so many surgeries? Wow, now I'm scared. My second dog was a pure bread beagle, which I'm very fond of beagles and Basset hounds also but they have lots of problems with ear infections and allergies so I'm sure over the years I spent that much on my beagle before she passed but not in the first ten months you poor thing! Maybe I'll just stick to pics of bulldogs for a while, lol! Maybe this is your puppy, I don't remember what site I found it on so don't sue me, lol! How could you not love a dog like that? But still that's something for me to consider down the road. I've only had one purebred dog, the rest have been rescue or pound puppies and they're usually a lot cheaper in the long run for some reason. Good luck with your little bully and I hope things go smoother with him from now on!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
