FLMan 0 Posted March 29, 2008 I have been kinda at a stand still.... exercising, eating right, just stuck at 299............ then BAM this morning 293.6 YEAH!! How is everyone else doing?
HeatherO 7 Posted March 30, 2008 That is great news. Congratulations!!! I keep getting stuck and then lose a few, stuck and then lose a few. It seems to happen every 5 pounds or so :0) Now I dont panic about it because I am getting used to it. It is almost as if I just need to give my body time to adjust. mamato3 1 Posted March 31, 2008 Congrats FLMan! I seem to be losing in the same pattern. I will lose nothing for a week or more and then the scale drops 3 to 5 pounds over night. It is so odd. I have learned not to get upset when I dont see it moving and just keep doing what I'm supposed to do.
citygirl4616 2 Posted April 24, 2008 Congrats!!!!! I will lose 2-3 pounds, then nothing for a week. Then another 2-3 pounds, then nothing for a week. Very odd, since I eat pretty much the same, and do the same exercise. I am down about 35 pounds(1/3 of my extra weight), and I am in no rush.
ladytuscanny 0 Posted April 25, 2008 I've started losing 1.5 a week after not losing anything for almost a month. I've also added exercise and measuring my food to make sure I eat enough. I haven't been hungry, FINALLY!!!
PeachesPJ 0 Posted April 25, 2008 I am down 35lbs in 13 weeks. Just this week I have lost 4 since Monday, when I went to the DR for 12 week appt and he wouldn't give me a fill as I am losing avg 1.5-2 lbs a week!
timd1848 0 Posted April 29, 2008 First and foremost, I am new to Lapbandtalk and have been trying to do this on my own for awhile. I really like the forum and have enjoyed the threads. That said, I am in a similar spot but my weight loss is really weird. I lost tons at the beginning on the liquid/soft diet and then grinded to a halt for a month a half (only 3 lbs lost at that time). Now, I have had my second fill and holy cow, I can't eat anything anymore. I have lost 6 lbs since the fill and am just doing everything I can to get in Protein and Water (its an all day affair). That parts a bit annoying, but the lbs shedding off isn't!
phyl808 1 Posted April 30, 2008 Yeah I know what you mean, I was stuck at 193 for over two weeks, but when I jumped on the scale the other day, it finally moved to 190. I was getting worried that I was on a plateau. Whew!
SuzanneG 1 Posted April 30, 2008 Congrats on the weight loss! I tend to stick at each 10 pound mark. Seems I can't cross that threshold without a bit of resistance from my body, or is it my mind? I don't know. Either way, it only seems to last about a week or so and I'm back on track so I'm OK with that.
tmusicmaker123 0 Posted April 30, 2008 Congrats to all. Banded 1-11-08. Lost 72 lbs. I have had steady weight loss except for 2 weeks in the early stage. I keep waiting for it to end.

ladytuscanny 0 Posted April 30, 2008 I believe the band is doing what it is supposed to do. I'm not hungry anymore. However, since i'm not hungry, i've started to track my intake of food to make sure that i'm getting 1200 calories a day plus the 80 grams of Protein that i've been told to eat. How does everyone else get their Protein? Fran
Chrisann 0 Posted April 30, 2008 I don't think I am getting enough Protein as my hair loss is getting noticeable in the shower and on the brushes. Even on my clothes sometimes too. I have been trying to add in a Protein shake a day now in addition to eating but sometimes can't get a damn thing down until late afternoon. Its been tough. RedTulips3 0 Posted May 2, 2008 I don't think I am getting enough Protein as my hair loss is getting noticeable in the shower and on the brushes. Even on my clothes sometimes too. I have been trying to add in a Protein shake a day now in addition to eating but sometimes can't get a damn thing down until late afternoon. Its been tough. I think the hair is going to fall out regardless of getting enough protein. I almost always eat 80 grams plus and I am shedding all over the place. I think it's a result of losing weight too. On the update: My weight loss has slowed the last 2 months, but I'm not complaining, I'll take any loss I can get! March and April were super busy months for me and I didn't get as much exercise in. I just got my second fill today so we'll see what happens with that. My first one didn't give me much restriction (to be expected), except for tightness early in the day.
