ssdown 0 Posted March 29, 2008 Find a place that does it outpatient! I had mine done on an outpatient basis here in Oregon. I was in at 7:00 AM and back home (30 miles away) before noon. I was self-pay, though. My insurance didn't cover the lap (or any bariatric surgery) band at all. Good luck. SS
ndwife 0 Posted March 29, 2008 Where are you located? Dr. Trace Curry in Cinncinati does it outpatient. I believe his site is lapbanddoctor.com.

I didn't even bother with anyone else, this is the first I have heard about being outpatient. I contacted a lawyer, but have had no reply. Keep us updated.
