What can cause band to erode

What can cause band to erode? My friend said cola, but the band is on the outside of the stomache???? Any known facts?:thumbup:

i read in another post that your band dosen't erode what happens is that the band will cut into the stomach, and that your band will eventually be inside of your stomach. . Most said that this will happen if the fill''s are too tight and for too long..

Known fact: erosion doesn't refer to the actual band eroding, it refers to the band erodiing through the organ wall. Do a search, I know there was at least one thread on this yesterday, and probably 100 before that. You'll find all the information to answer your questions a few times over. :thumbup:
