Hi Guys, I know the snow is coming Tues night of course:thumbdown: my surgery is Wednesday morning!!!

My sister is coming over and we will call a plow if we need to just to get to the hospital:tongue2: and we even offered to pick up the doc...LOL

Still nervous but got so much to do that I shouldn't have too much time to think. Off to work... got my list of things to take to the hospital.

Chat later:thumbup:

Jean good luck with your surgery this week!!!!! keep busy the best you can before, I know easier said than done.

you are so lucky to have your banded sister as a support person.

Jay you crack me up with the 24 hr notice. the pre-op consult is mostly and interview/general exam to review your meds and check out your general health for the surgery.

they never gave me the soap either time..... I feel kinda left out. :(

Great to hear you're doing well Jean!

When you went in did you have to do your insurance co-pay at the time of admission? That is, if you have a co-pay

Thanks for all the good wishes... I had co-pays at the appointments but none at the time of admission. And that was a good thing since I didn't have any money with me at the hospital:blushing:

Out and walking daily, just have to be careful as the meds make me loopy////

I am off for a little cat nap!

Jean

Hey everyone!!! I am sooo behind on the posts. I haven't been getting my email notifications????? Anyway, I gotta go back & read when I can.

I went for a fill last week but Dr Vernon didn't think I needed one. I think she was right. I lost 8 pounds since the last time I had seen her!!!!!! It was about 1 month. So, I was VERY happy! I still have good restriction & haven't had a fill since DEC, 22nd.

HAPPY!!! HAPPY!! HAPPY!! LOL!!!

Down 33 LBS total. I'm going to join the gym soon too. I really need to SWEAT. I need it for the plysical & mental. Hope your all well!!!!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
