juliegeraci 7 Posted April 22, 2008 Yesterday was my big day. I am a little sore but nothing that bad. I am on the tylenol with codeine only now. vicodin was good yesterday. I slept really well. My stomach is definitely flat. He removed 6.2 lbs from my abdomen. My thighs look better too but I will not see the true outcome until I can get into the girdle next week. Thanks everyone for the posts. I am healing nicely. My husband is a Godsend. I am ready for a glass of wine already! That is how good I feel. I hear it makes the worldy difference having a good anastesiologist. He said he uses a ton of pains meds during the procedures so lets see what tomorrow brings. I think day 3 might be the most difficult. Right now I am very comfortable. I get one of my drains out tomorrow so wish me luck. Julie

juliegeraci 7 Posted April 22, 2008 Thank you. The only thing strange so far is my belly button is really high now. Hopefully it will go down with the swelling.
StephC 0 Posted April 22, 2008 Good to hear from you Julie. I never thought about the placement of the belly button. Mine is pretty low now, maybe thats why I like the mom jeans that come up above my belly button. :glare:
juliegeraci 7 Posted April 22, 2008 Yeah, I had no idea what to expect as far as the belly button goes but it is defiinitely higher. It will take some getting use to. It may show when I wear jeans for sure. Thanks everyone for the posts. I am in bed with my son's wireless computer so its really nice to have some friends out in the cyber world! soon2bnewme 0 Posted April 22, 2008 I'm new to the site actually just found it for the first time. I was banded August 06 and I'm scheduled for a Full TT and a huge hernia repair at the same time on May 15th. I can't wait. I'm trying to lose some more lbs. before surgery but was at a huge plateau for months. I bought the bodybugg last night and can already tell where I was going wrong with my diet/exercising. I was working out like crazy and dieting but wasn't doing enough to make a 1000 calorie deficit to lose. My trainer says this should do the trick. Is anyone else trying to lose some more weight before surgery??? Good luck to everyone. Renee'
StephC 0 Posted April 23, 2008 Well Renee I wanted to but I havent' gotten very far. I was only losing about a lb or 2 a month and then went in for a fill and lost 5 the first week, then it slowed down to about 2 more in the next few weeks. I only have a week left so I don't think I'm going to lose these last 8 lbs by then. I got my period so that threw me up a pound but if and when I dare get back on the scale I doubt that I'll have lost any more. But good luck to you! I'm glad you found us.
