light headed

I just got banded on thursday 3/20 and when I eat my yogurt or any thing else for that matter I feel a little bit light headed, is this normal? I am getting worried and it feels like someone is sitting on my chest its kind of hard to breathe. Am I OK??? :crying:

Hi Patricia, my surgeon told me it was normal to feel the pressure in your chest area after surgery. As far as the lightheadedness, I'm not sure about that. I would call your surgeon in the morning just to be sure.

Yep, chest pressure and left shoulder pain is normal. Lightheaded, not sure why. I was lightheaded as well, but decided it was becasue I was dehydrated. Are you getting enough fluids?
