luv10nis 0 Posted March 24, 2008 Prior to surgery my family and I would eat out about 10 times a week. I know this is AWFUL!!! At any rate, my life evolved around fast food, resturants, etc. I am amazed that since this surgery I have not once wanted food from a take out, fast food type of place. I really thought this would be something I would have to contend with. Has anyone else experienced this?
argon 3 Posted March 24, 2008 I can't say that I haven't had cravings (but also didn't for a while in the beginning), but the odd time I've caved and had some fries or something from McDonalds, for example, I didn't enjoy them at all. The old standbys are definitely not as good when you have to take your time eating them, that is for sure. Now I go for things I KNOW taste good, cause if I can't eat much, I'm at least going to enjoy the amount I CAN eat.
juliegeraci 7 Posted March 24, 2008 My only set back is Starbucks. It is difficult for me to get fast food down. Congrats on a great NSV.
