bigmoe 0 Posted March 23, 2008 I was banded on 27Feb08 and my first fill is on 28Mar08 and I am hungry! I try not to eat alot but I fail most of the time and the pain I have afterward is not worth it. I know that I will hurt later but I still eat. Anyone that have some helpful hints please let me know.:scared2::frown:

chclvr 0 Posted March 23, 2008 i was banded 2-28-08 and will have my first fill 4-1-08. my surgeon's office said they are not concerned with weight loss the first month. this is kind of a learning experience, like learning how to eat, how much to eat, etc. now that i have said that, i have been starving for the last 3 days! when i get hungry, i eat, but i eat healthy food and i think that is the difference....i'm no longer head to the junk foods for a snack.< /p> hang in there....it will get better. chclvr:thumbup:
cantweight2go 1 Posted March 23, 2008 I,too, am hungryyyyyy! Up until 3 nights ago I was on track with the Postop diet. I gave in and had 3 scoops of icecream and this morning, Easter, I had one slice of bacon, 2 scr eggs, and a very small pancake w/syrup. I go into see the doctor on March 26th and I hope I get a fill. Up to now I have been soooo good but I am running out of will power.
Just_me 0 Posted March 23, 2008 What has helped me when I know I was full but if food was still in front of me and I would be tempted to eat because it was there, was to put a bunch of stuff on it i.e salt pepper so the food would be too terrible to eat. I would feel bad sometimes because I was wasting food but I would rather do that than to regret eating all of it.
