tyrind 0 Posted March 22, 2008 Hello all. I finally get to see the surdeon on 4/3. After a month of sending in my paper work I am now on my way to my journey:biggrin: After i see the surgeon then he will give me the rest of my appointments with the nutritionist & whoever else. I am just so releived that i am now getting things rolling. I have been over weight for the past 5 years or so with history of high blood pressure & my legs would swell & veins would pop. I am 34 yrs old & weigh 240lbs at 5'4. my bmi is 41. i sure hope & pray that everything goes well with this journey. I am a little nervous mabut my insurance. I have bcbs,of m michican & they told mme they don't do a preapproval. They say if i meet their requirements then it will be approved. But the only thing about that is when i have the surgery & they send it in & tHE insurance don't pay the its my responsibility:crying:. jfran 0 Posted March 22, 2008 Wow! How exciting to start your journey! That is scary that you have to pay if insurance doesn't cover it since there is no preapproval. No matter what it will be worth it. Debt seems to be a fact of life. We are all going to have debt for the rest of our lives, so we might as well be happy and healthy.
