BlessedTwice 1 Posted March 20, 2008 Hello, I just started my period last night and I woke up this morning bloated like crazy. My feet, ankles and legs are so bloated that they hurt. I've have never had this problem. This is my first MC since my surgery. Has anyone had this problem. I'm also drinking TONS of Water too. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thank you! allykat 1 Posted March 20, 2008 Well, I'd say keep drinking the Water and the bloat will go away. I didn't have that problem this month (also my first TOM since surgery) but I did have intense cramps, somthing I usually don't have trouble with. Man, I was in pain! I even took a half-dose of the surgery pain meds! I hardly used that after surgery, but I was seriously hurting a few nights ago. Hope you feel better! LilMissDiva Irene 3,282 Posted March 25, 2008 This is probably always going to happen and will have to be accepted over time. It doesn't stay with you but for a few days. I know, I hate it too, but what can we do? As I have lost over 65 pounds total pre- and post-op, one thing I have noticed is that my periods are become much more normal. Not so heavy and long. Hopefully this will be the case for all of us.
BlessedTwice 1 Posted March 26, 2008 Thank you both for your replies. I will need to up my Water intake with at least an extra 16 ounces each day for a total of 96 ounces since I already drink 80 ounces now. I'm hoping it will be better next month.
