Congratulations to all the people who met the challenge or close to it. Well this challenge wasn't kind to me so I'm going for the next one and I know I will have results for that one since I have been doing better with the food intake. I go for another fill next week and I'm hoping that will help as well.

I was really hoping I could make it to my goal. I was literally stuck for many weeks at 213. Either going up or back to 213. Then I broke it and saw 211 Friday. But my TOM decided to show up and it slowed my weight loss. I'm hoping by the end of the week to make it to 209 we'll see. It was exciting once I started losing again. Felt like I did right after surgery when I would lose a lb every day or two!

Well I didn't make my goal. I am 187, I lost 9. I wont beat myself up tho, I did go down another pants size and a bra size. So inches lost will make up for pounds lost this time for me.

Phooey. I lost 4.5 pounds overall. Oh well, it's better than a gain. Now that the warm weather is here, I am hoping all the extra activity from gardening and doing other stuff outside will make a difference.

Well I was doing ok until vacation! No restriction and french bread and pastries do not add up for weight loss. Luckily, I had a fill appt scheduled for today.

If this is restriction, it hurts! liquids go down, but I have a tightness in my chest that is painful. I always get tight after a fill, so I will wait a few days, but this one is different. If this continues, losing what I gained on vacation shouldn't be a problem. I have no appetite.

Someone messed up my goal on the list along the way. I didn't reach goal (was close, until that yummy french bread) and now I'm not even close, but hey, vacation with no restriction is tough! Onward to the next challenge!

I didn't make my goal either but hey 10lbs. is great. Was hoping to lose 3lbs by tomorrow to make 100 but I am pleased. When is the new challenge? Are we going to July 4th. Getting a little closer to our Independence from Fat.

Well everybody I made my goal of 7 lbs. and more. I lost 8.4 lbs. and had a 4 week plateau. I didn't think I would make it!!! I'm waiting for the next challenge! Lets do it again. Congrats to all who participated.

Love, Kathy Actually I just looked at chart and started at 173 and am now at 158.6 so I lost 13 through the whole challenge. Someone had posted my 1st loss for me and 7 lbs was final lbs to lose. I don't know how change my weight on the chart. Again, congrats to all who did it!

HOLY COW!!! 20 pounds in 6 weeks!!!!!

I knew It was going to be close... I did not think it would come down to the EXACT pound though!

I am 8 pounds away from breaking the 100 pound mark!!!!!!!

Good job NYMPHS!!! I love it when we all feel like we are making progress. Even if you just lost a few pounds on this challenge, don't feel bad. Just remember how hard it was to lose those few pounds before the band!

How about having the next challenge go to the first day of summer, June 21st? That's almost 7 weeks. It could be a "kick off the summer" challenge or whatever sounds good to everyone else. After that we can have a "melt off the pounds for summer" challenge. Any thoughts?

Why don't you crank up the "Melt-Off" challenge. I had set a goal of 300 by Memorial day. I am only 8 lbs away from that with 4 weeks to get there. I think I will need a little longer challenge than Mem. Day.

      Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.
