how long in the hospital?

In at 6am, left at noon........I can't imagine what they would have done for me staying overnight that I couldn't do for myself or with my family's help at home.

I was most grateful to be in my own bed with my own stuff!

My surgery was at 1:15, I was in my friends car heading home by 4:30, and that included a hiatal hernia repair.

It was a wednesday. I walked the dog (slowly) on Thursday at 7:00am.

On Friday I went to the spa for a mani pedi, on Saturday I was driving.

I am single and live alone (with my dog) so I had to "get on with it".

I think if I had a spouse who was willing to cater hand and foot i would have milked it for an entire week !!
