Today: B: 1/2 cup cottage cheese, HB egg L: 3 oz. deli turkey/1/2 c. spinach D: 3 oz roast beef, 1/2 c. strawberries Yeah Apple! You go! Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted March 27, 2008 I am so impressed with so many of you who actually cook Breakfast. I am a non cooker. Breakfast low carb slim fast 1/2 lunch south beach frozen meal. It has chicken with some sort of spaghetti sauce on it and broccoli. dinner Protein Drink made from Water EAS Protein Powder and sugar free raspberry Syrup.< /p> I had 10 almonds at work. B-Slim Fast Low Carb shake L-6 Wings 1/2 container of Ranch D-2 Wings & 2 small porkchops less than 3oz before cooking 60oz of Water so far:thumbup: I went to the Y on the treadmill for 45 minutes. LOL!!! I know!!! What's the skinny lattees all about. I have seen them advertise, but I have never tried one, are they low in carbs? I sure hope so...If not....it'll be just a splurge day...BTW!!! birdee 1 Posted March 27, 2008 Ok...Low Carbers does anyone worry about fat? My calories, carbs and Proteins are where they need to be....but my fat is a little high. Should I be concerned. Is there a range where fat should be.... I had cauliflower with cheese sauce and a steak and cheese sandwich(2 steak ums) with cheese...no bread.< /p> Everything is OK with this meal as far as carb, calories, and Protein goes....just wondering about that fat? Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted March 27, 2008 I try to watch the fat. I don't go nuts counting fat grams but I will choose something that has lower fat even if it adds carbs, such as skim milk. I am glad there is no star bucks here. The nurse at our support group is always saying that the people who have trouble are those that choose to drink their calories.
