B - 2 scrambled eggs with taco meat and sour cream L - 8 kashi crackers, sliced ham and swiss cheese D - salad and grilled chicken breast S - cottage cheese and dry roasted endamame Total carbs for the day was only 22, Protein was 65, but my calories for the day were a little low. I'll have to watch that. I need to keep them between 900 and 1000. Was only 790 yesterday. My carbs are up a little today at 45, (toast for Breakfast and brown rice for dinner) but once again my calories are a little low (709). Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted March 29, 2008 Where do you get this dry roasted endamame? I keep hearing about it. I don't know what it is, but I want something to snack on that's not a bad choice. renewedhope 4 Posted March 29, 2008 I get frozen endamame from sam's. It comes in individual containers. YOu cook it in the microwave for 3 minutes and then eat the peas out of the pod. It is one of my favorites, and I think it is better for you because it is steamed, not dried. I could be wrong, but less sodium I think???????? I actually bought some more today. nip50 2 Posted March 30, 2008 The dry roasted endamame can be purchased online at either snackaisle.com or thru Amazon. I haven't found them at any local stores, but then I live in a rural community. Things went well today for me. b-two sausage patties and 3 stips of bacon l-1/2 cheeseburger pattie (no bun...little bit of ketchup) d-the other 1/2 of the cheeseburger pattie from lunch...no ketchup snack: 3-carb fudge bar, coffee w/Splenda, one tbs of spicy guacamole with 5 veggie chips. However, I will be on liquids the rest of the day because I PB'd some breakfast this morning. b-sausage, bacon, egg and cheese scramble (basically, these were the contents of a breakfast burrito from Taco Bueno). coffee w/Splenda. l-one tbs of spicy guacamole and about 3 Veggie chips, hot raspberry tea w/ Splenda d-chicken broth, hot tea snacks: sugar-free Jello pudding (6 carbs), 3-carb fudge popsicle. Today I've had 30 carbs and 76 Protein with a total of 800 calories.
