I was also banded 3 days ago in Houston by Dr. Spivak. I weighed 180 and now I'm at 173. My tummy is so tight and miserable - How about yours?

Tight and miserable, yes! But I am so excited to see that I've already lost 6 lbs. and whereas before I might be worried that I'd just gain the 6 lbs. right back, I know that this time those 6 lbs. are gone for good. I can't wait to keep losing! I found that yesterday I was really missing food. I'm not hungry whatsoever. I just miss chewing and the taste of food. These next two weeks will be interesting, to say the least.

I was banded on March 7th by Dr. Spiegel in Houston. Congratulations! I am missing food so much less today than I was a week ago, being able to add creamy Soups really helped. I am just amazed that I can actually drink a Slim Fast or a Campbells Soup at Hand and really be satisfied. I am so excited about this journey! It is so amazing to lose weight and really believe that I will be able to keep it off! I've never had that confidence in myself before and I love it! Good luck!

I am SO looking forward to Fri. when I can start adding creamy Soups. I am so sick of Clear Liquids. I want to actually taste something. Surprisingly, I have found some satisfaction in cooking for my family. Just standing over the stove and smelling everything cook... :shades_smile:
