Appetite before first fill: how much could you eat?

I was banded on 2/11 and hopefully will get my first fill on Wed. the 26th. I find myself able to eat anything and have to remind myself not to eat so fast!!!! I am glad to hear that this seems to be more of the norm. Hopefully our fills will get us back on track!

I was banded 3/5 as well and am really starting to have trouble with my eating. Still doing the Protein shake in the morning but have added a little PB and a couple slices of banana, easier to get down with some flavor. And doing good at lunch but at after work and at night I am getting really hungry. I also lost before surgery (15lbs) and 10 since but I slowly gained back a pound and am getting nervous. I have been walking ALOT and am hoping that my body is just changing and I will start losing again soon. My first fill isn't scheduled until 4/11. Thanks for everyone who has commented, it's nice to know that I am not the only one with these issues. Can someone tell me if the fills hurt?
