antsmith101 0 Posted March 15, 2008 I'm just wondering if anyone use sauna as part of weight lost? I have read you can burn around 300-500 cal for 30min session. Supposelly theres a 1k burn sauna but i think it false advertisement.

Angie4b1g 1 Posted March 16, 2008 I go in there for 5 seconds and am like "omg can't breathe, might die, must save myself". Not sure how people sit in there for 30 minutes or more. LOL

TulipStar 2 Posted March 19, 2008 Ok, so I was in Finland last week (AKA: Home of the sauna) and my work team and I did a "traditional Finnish sauna" as a team building experience. What an exhilirating experience! I truly does think that it rids your body of impurities and can help you lose excess Water weight. At first it was so hot I didn't feel like I could stand it, but then it was ok. You do cycles where you leave the sauna and take a cold shower or swim and then go back in the heat. It gets your blood flowing. It was pretty awesome.
