pain at port site, how long does it last?

How long have you had pain at the port site? Is it normal? Does it take longer to heal?

I was banded on 2/4/08 and I will say that the pain at my port site lasted approximately 2-3 weeks. 5 weeks post-op and sometimes if I sit for too long when I stand up I feel a minor amount of pain as well but not nearly as much immediately following surgery.

Port site hurts me, like shooting pains or I am pulling my wound. But it is still intact. It hurts to the touch. Not awfull pain, but pain. I am only 1 week post op.
