I'm an extremely neat and tidy person, like almost OCD about it.

When I click on the right hand side where it says Unanswered Posts, I have this crazy drive to answer all the questions so they'll be neat and tidy (and gone) I mean, there are a LOT of pages of unanswered questions. The neat person in me wants to clear it all!

Anyone else have this weird desire?

I'd say I lean in that direction. As you can see, I found your unanswered post! :-D

You should see my desk! Everyone at work teases me about my neat desk. Some folks think a neat desk means no work, but I believe the opposite is true. LOL

I have gone there to answered all the poor unanswered posts only to find I couldn't answer. Many of them are asking about Dr. So and So and I don't know him, or asking about PCOS and I don't have it, etc., etc. I have good intenetions but can't help. Good luck if you can answer them!!

It will be sad if it's my new goal in life... :-) I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one who has had this neurotic notion.

Suzanne - that's funny! I believe the same thing and even had another girl at work tell me to pull out some papers so that I "look busy" to other people.

I said, "I AM busy!" People don't get that I actually like it neat - it's not just something I do when I'm bored.

Gloucester, you took the words right out of my mouth. Seems to me that the messy folks are obviously not doing enough or they'd put their stuff away. How do they even find anything? My cube neighbor has papers stacked EVERYWHERE you can barely see her chair and one tiny spekc of desk. How does she get anything done?:confused2:

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
