kobdish 0 Posted March 11, 2008 Besides the scars and still some minimal discomfort I can not tell AT ALL that I have been banded! I can eat just as much as before and the night after my first fill I ate 3 pieces of pizza for dinner and easily could have eaten more except I am trying to use self control and lose weight. I was banded Feb. 20th 2008 and have gained weight. Any suggestions what is wrong I feel this was a waste of money, time, and should have asked for the bypass. TerriDoodle 6 Posted March 11, 2008 Well, it is kind of unusual not to feel any restriction, but not unheard of by any means. Sometimes it takes months to get filled up to the level where you really feel it...and you WILL! It's not time to fret just yet! Have a bit of patience! You might want to talk to your doctor about when he is willing to schedule your next fill.
NukeChik 1 Posted March 11, 2008 Patience, you will get restriction, it will just take some time. Remember most of us are being fitted with a larger band these days. I myself have the Realize band and it has to be inserted empty. I just had my second fill last week. I do feel some restriction especially in the mornings, I will still need another fill though. It will take time, just work on following the band "rules" and it will happen.
