HarleyNana 10 Posted March 14, 2005 1 scoop of egg salad and 1 scoop of tuna salad placed on top of soy chips, mmmmm. Then for desert, a scoop of frozen yogurt, some oj, frozen strawberries, blended in the magic bullet. My veg was the celery in the tuna salad. I think I shouldn't have gotten that unfill, now I'm open as a well.

Jammin & Losin 1 Posted March 14, 2005 You know it does get kinda boring cooking the same oh things all the time maybe we should start a recipe thread with some new healthy recipes. By the way I had a Protein Drink for supper and my husband went with my dad to help him do some stuff and they stopped for chinese on the way home. MAN THAT SOUNDS GOOD!! I'm trying so hard not to do the last meal sindrome but it is killing me UHHH!!! I'm so weak!!!

dylansmom 27 Posted March 14, 2005 I had pizza over at my mom and dad's. I can definately tell the difference between when I eat healthy and when I eat crap. I felt hungry again within 2 hours after eating all of that bread and cheese. Now tonight I was craving cucumbers with my healthy Watkins Bacon & Onion dip (made with reduced fat sour cream). I had some squash/cheese/crouton casserole that Don's mom made instead. It sure was yummy! (I'll eat the cucumbers tomorrow )
taylorrae9 0 Posted March 14, 2005 I had home made chicken noddle Soup with some larger pieces of chicken and some home made corn bread. It was from left over chicken dinner last night. We are a fat free fudge bar for desert. But I am blown away at what you all are eating. I have been eating really boring stuff and have been so afraid to eat much of anything. I think a thread of good food to eat is a wonderful idea.

Have you all heard about this book-- Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery: Over 140 Delicious Low-Fat, High-Protein recipes to Enjoy in the Weeks, Months and Years after Surgery by Patt Levine. It is really a good book and even tells you what types of foods to eat at which stage.
Alexandra 55 Posted March 14, 2005 I hate to cook. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Normally my hubby does all the cooking around here, but on Sundays he works until 4:00 so I have to start dinner. Which means we always have leftovers or takeout. So last night it was a free-for-all. I ended up eating a leftover piece of chicken from one meal, and a different leftover piece of chicken from another meal. And I had four little chocolate Hershey minibars for dessert. :rolleyes
