New Hope 37 Posted March 17, 2005 Jamie, I'm a simple cook. I moisten them w/water, and sprinkle them w/ Tone's Canadian Steak Seasoning, then grill them on an outdoor gas grill. Just don't overcook them, so they'll stay moist. You can also moisten them w/worchestershire sause first (but they'll be saltier). I find that seasoning mix in a large container at our local Sam's...a little goes a long way. It's also great to use as a rub for a brisket. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

IamCanadian25 1 Posted April 17, 2005 I'm still in my post-op soft foods stage right now....but i still end up being able to cook my myself and my family, things that we all like. So i made chinese dumplings, rice , brussel sprouts(yum couldn't eat them sad face). so i just ate the dumplings and some left over broccoli Soup (very pureed) Its so strange, since i have had the operation i get in these cooking spurts and end up cooking for an army insted of just for 6. lol good luck with supper tonight everybody.. slimmer sue 0 Posted April 17, 2005 Ican't believe what you are all eating. I'm on my 11th day of liquids so anything sounds good. This thread is encouraging to me though because I thought I would never eat normal again after surgery. There's Hope!!!! By the way I had a Optifast drink for supper.
