SpecialK 22 Posted March 8, 2008 OMG! Haven't experienced blizzard conditions and this volume of snow in a 12-18 hour period of time in over 30 years. Thought it would be fun for those of you in warmer climates to see a picture of this. Also, I'm going crazy thinking what if I can't make it to the hospital for my surgery date due to a blizzard after working for 6 months to get there ---I tell you this-- it will be a cold day in ...... before I'll miss that surgery date!
sfeiner 2 Posted March 8, 2008 Oh WOW! I thought it was bad in WI. We have 88" of snow but that was .spread out. I think 13 in one day was the most.

betrthnever 107 Posted March 9, 2008 Sorry specialK about all that snow! I'm thinking about you while enjoying the 70 degree weather here in Phoenix, AZ. You'll make it to the important date!
METALBAND 0 Posted March 9, 2008 I am jealous of all that snow....we are getting just rain, rain, and more rain. I am glad I went snowboarding yesterday while we still had snow!! Wishing I was there....
Angie4b1g 1 Posted March 9, 2008 Would take a heck of a lot more than a couple feet of snow to keep me from getting banded! You'll make it!
SpecialK 22 Posted March 9, 2008 Okay, it stopped snowing shortly after I took that picture and I'm digging out today. Burning lots of calories pushing that snowblower and shoveling. I think I can get out of my driveway this afternoon so I'll just start praying that this little blizzard got itself out the system so no more for next Sunday with my surgery then on Monday. Angie4b1g 1 Posted March 9, 2008 I just saw that it's going to be in the 40s on Thursday. So the snow problem will likely work itself out. (Hopefully not right into my basement)
*susan* 1,709 Posted March 9, 2008 Ohhh, see if I was where there is snow, I would be taking advantage of it by getting on a snowmobile. When I was young, we lived in Michigan and I remember how much I loved snowmobiling!
