texgirl 0 Posted March 9, 2008 I was banded 3/7/08. I can have 1-3 slim fast or Atkins shakes a day and Clear Liquids for 1 week. Week 2 I can start adding in creamy Soups like Tomato. Week 3 I can have mashed potatos, yogurt and soft fish. Week 4 I can start having regular foods.
LiseSeattle 0 Posted March 9, 2008 check out my blog link below for how to make a slimfast shake taste like a frappuccino! also, sugarfree hot cocoa is always yummy! What kind of stuff did your doctor say you could have? I am not even aloud to have Soup until week three, and I read a bunch of these forums and most ppl can have soup within a couple of weeks. I am so sick of Protein drinks, broth, and Water. Do you have any suggestions on how I can spice up my liquid meals?

Do you have any suggestions on how I can spice up my liquid meals? Today makes my two week mark after surgery and I'm able to have: scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, cream Soups, tuna fish, stuff like this. After today I can start trying more solid foods... I read where one person said they were eating cream soups and scrambled eggs the day after surgery. WHAT? It is odd how doctors have so many different rules.. amhancock 0 Posted March 10, 2008 It is very odd how all doctors do things differently. My dieticians appear to be very strict. Today is my week one mark after surgery, but I go back on Friday. Hopefully at that point I can have different things. At this point I feel no restriction but then again I am on all liquids so I am starving all the time. I hope that when I start eating actual food I will notice. My surgeon put 2 ccs in my band at the time of surgery. Do you know how many ccs they put in on a fill?
