I just has a small victory that I'd like to share with you guys. I know its not a big deal because you guys have been losing SO much weight in these last 6 mos, and I am a slacker compared to you guys, but I just hit the 30 pound mark! I am so happy. Only 12 pounds till I leave twoterville and enter onederland!! Once I hit onederland, the size 16 jeans will be calling my name:)

FINALLY.... I have broken the plateau I was on and have lost 4 more pounds. The plateau was all my doing, too much snacking and not enough exercise. Im getting back on track and its finally showing :shades_smile: I was wondering if anyone else has problems with their scales. I have a digital scale and I usually get a different weight every time I weigh myself. For example I will weigh myself and get a number that is way lower than I know it should be so I will do it again and get something totally different... up to 5 lbs different. I have gotten into the habit of waiting till I get a relatively same number a few days in a row before I will say thats where I am. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

2 Pounds away from revised goal!!! My doctor was not happy about the rapid weightloss in the last 2 weeks and wants me fully going into maintenance. I am NOT supposed to TRY and lose these last 2 pounds. If they come off, they come off... but right now I need to focus on maintenance. I think I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that I am at a good weight even if it is still considered "slightly overweight" Afterall I am essentially in size 8s now. Tried on several different pairs of pants this weekend and the 8s all fit! I did book an appt with my nutritionist on Wed of next week so hopefully I will learn how to eat correctly for maintenance.

      Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.
