Tangerine4 0 Posted March 4, 2008 Has anyone heard of this new and improved lap band or know if anyone is currently using it? I just saw the commercial for it today and googled it. shortgal 5 Posted March 4, 2008 There are different brands, so I'm not sure what commerical you saw. I have the Allergan/Inamed AP 10 cc band. The new one has a scalloped design where the saline goes. The scallop design is supposed to reduce slipping problems. There is also a J & J band called realize.
