imb316 0 Posted March 3, 2008 I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I already put a call into my Dr and am waiting for a call back but I am very nervous. I vomited last night and this morning when I woke up my stomach my stomach really aches. It is very tender to touch and hurts when I laugh or cough. It feels like I did 500 sit-ups and I did none! laramey77 0 Posted March 3, 2008 imb316, I am sorry to hear that you are hurting. I got banded on 2/27/08.. I have been lucky and have not had any nausea or vomiting. My abdomen is also sore and tender to the touch, and also hurts when I laugh or cough. I know mine is mostly around my port site and close to my belly button. From what I was told when they place the port, it is stitched to your muscle tissue. I coughed alot after surgery from anethisia.. it is good that you called the doctor. My pain has gradually got better everyday that passes. I hope your does as well.

divade 0 Posted April 8, 2008 Can you please tell me what ever happened with your stomach soreness? I have been searching the internet over and came across this forumn. I feel EXACTLY the same way. I feel like I have done about 1000 stomach crunches when I haven't so much as done 1. I'm extremely concerned and a little freaked out. I had the surgery for almost 2 years and I've never had anything like this to happen.... HELP! Anyone....

AnnieLou 0 Posted April 10, 2008 Talk about tummy soreness? I wish I was lucky enough to have been able to have my band put in laproscopically with the 5 tiny incisions like you all probably have. Try on the soreness from having to have your surgery started with the little slits, then all off the sudden changed to "Open" banding with a huge slit in your stomach that goes from your boobs to your belly button, because your spleen got nicked during the surgery by mistake, and along with your band being put in....having to have that nicked spleen removed. Now that is sore. I had my surgery on 3/28/
