Hi guys,on Saturday 1st March I finally got banded! I am in quite a bit of pain,but dont regret it at all. Will keep you updated on my progress.

Congratulations. I was just like you...I thought that it was quite painful. I read on here that it wasn't much for others, but I guess I'm a big baby. I'm sending vibes to you for a speedy recovery!!! Good luck throughout your journey.

My mom and I were banded 02/28 and it went great! My mom said she had hangnails that hurt more that the surgery...I on the other hand woke up to a rough time...I felt good until I got up to walk and then it hit me. I was litterally white as a ghost and could barely talk...ugh! But luckily, each day when I wake up, I'm so much better...it's been 4 days and I just have a dull pain at my port and a bit of left over gas...feeling good! (The pain pills help of course!) My mom said it's because I've never had surgery or kids before, so no point of reference....I think I'm being a baby too!

You're going to do great....just ride it out and follow your Dr's orders!
