bigunc 0 Posted March 2, 2008 I had my LBS on 2-25-08 and was sent home with an OnQpainbuster Medicine pump. It is a collapsable ball filled with a local anesthetic by a tube implanted under the skin at the incision wound site. It was filled with approx. 5 days worth of meds. I am curious if anyone else had the same thing or something similar to use post LBS.
Sue Magoo 71 Posted March 2, 2008 Big Unc: You might want to put this question on the cosmetic surgery tab because it seems like alot of them talk about this type of pain pump. Hope you feel well soon. Sue
Cowboy 0 Posted March 3, 2008 I had the OnQ. Never seen or heard of it before, but I sure liked it. If I ever have surgery again I will ask for it. db
sfeiner 2 Posted March 3, 2008 I sure didn't have enough pain to warrant something like that (I googled it) It sure would've been nice when I had back surgery or my knees replaced!
bigunc 0 Posted March 3, 2008 When I left the Hospital I told my DW that it would be a pain the ass to lug around all day. I know now that I would have been in alot more pain without it.
Hess 1 Posted March 5, 2008 I was done 2/28 and was spose to have the Qband but behold it was not there when I awoke. Pain control would had been better as I got a upper resp infection and cough all the time. Good luck man Hess
