Got in another hour at the gym and then we went for a brisk walk later today for another hour...so I got 2 hours in on my day off!!

Go Daddy! What a loss for 4 months! I'm in awe of you.

I got in an hour at the dog park both days this weekend and have been getting out there nearly every night for a walk with the pup. I'll get more miles in there once the mud dries up (may be awhile after the snowstorm today, d*mmit!). Oh, and I had a dance rehearsal too, so that added a bit more to the tally.

Nice work, everyone!

Well on another challange i lost 56 pounds between Jan 1st and April 1st! Yah me.

Keep going people.

Holy crap.... you have lost 142 total pounds. Nice job:thumbup: Congrats on the 56 too, that is astonishing!

I was looking through the book store for books on Triathlons and ran across this in the exersise section.

I think this is a book no woman should be with out.

I knew I was missing a book in my library!!! Okay got in an hour of cardio but it was a crappy hour. I had some MAJOR port pain. I think it was caused from my weight lifting workout yesterday I bumped up my weights so I think my whole body was a bit sore. But alas I am over the challenge by .5 hours:thumbup:!

Big accomplishment Whosya! Congratulations and thanks for showing us what can be done.

I did my cardio and weight training this evening, but I still came up one day short on the cardio. I'll do better next month!

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
