What are you average times you eat your 3 meals?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what time you all eat your meals and do you try to eat about the same time everyday? Mine varies a bit but not much.

My Dr. said NO Snacks just the 3 sm meals. But I do have some Diet Cocoa around 4:00pm (my rough spot of the day). :w00t:

B: 7:30-8:15

L: 12-1:30

D: 6-7:00

My Doc says no Snacks too - but if I do, make them small & healthy. Seems like the harder I work out the snack is needed.

B- 8:30-9:30am

L- 12:30-1pm

D- 5:30-6pm **trying not to eat after 6:30pm**

Snack - depends sometimes in late afternoon *ususally handful of almonds/walnuts*

I really appreciate the weekdays because I'm on a set schedule--the weekends are a killer because my hubby and I run constantly, so I'm doing the constant assessment as to where I am in the day and what I've had!! Weekdays are:

B 7:00 AM

L 12:00 PM

D 5:30 PM

Ebonie and Luluc, like you I have my Protein shake at about 3:00 PM just to make it through the afternoon. I also have a rough spot in the evening around 8:00, so I make up my 1/2 cup Protein instant pudding and that will satiate me until bedtime!! :w00t:

My doctor recommends 3 meals and no Snacks as well, but I usually don't do that. I seem to do better with 4-5 very small meals.

B- 9:00

L- 12:30

S- 3:00

D- 5:30

S- 8:00 (I only do this if I am truly hungry)

Thanks guys!

I try to not eat too late in the evening either but that doesn't always happen.

I have been tempted lately to snack. I don't know why, I've been doing this eating change since early July and for some reason its been a bit rough lately.

Got to quit thinking about food!!!! ugggggg................:w00t: I think since I was wanting to try a fill, then seeing if I could to eat less, it seems I've got "am I full or hungry" on the brain.

Another question, do you measure your food every time or just eat till you're satisfied and not worry too much about it?

Wow Ebonie - You lost 78lbs w/one fill!!??!!

That's amazing - I'm going for fill #6 Monday and HOPE I get to that sweet place , I've been more hungry since my last fill than since Pre Banding. Not sure if it's cause I'm working out crazy - or what , but it's been all self control w/a slip here / there.

I measure my food about 50% of the time. I'm not consistent w/it , especially days I'm more hungry *I don't measure - cause I want a bit more* I know what my yogurt/cottage cheese/oatmeal *prepkged meals* weigh in oz's, the fresh meals I make at home I can gauge by their size now how much they weigh..:w00t:

Thanks luluc, yes I lost the 78 and just had my first fill on Wed. Haven't seen much of a change though and that was with 5cc in a 10cc band. I wanted more restirction, I haven't pushed it but my meals are a bit smaller. So far everything is staying down as before.

B: 10am

L: 1pm

S: 3-4pm

D: 6-7pm

I've started eating dinner a little later recently and it seems to be keeping me from looking for a snack or dessert type item in the late evening.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
