Sue Magoo 71 Posted March 1, 2008 Hess: Hopefully your swelling will go down soon. Remember, if you cannot drink you must call your surgeon! You can do real harm if you get dehydrated. Take care. Sue

kbinaz 0 Posted March 2, 2008 Yeah for you! Getting off meds is huge! Oh, and get used to that 'purring' sound - the lap band makes us very noisy people!
Sue Magoo 71 Posted March 2, 2008 Hess: Glad you're feeling better. Get some rest so that you continue healing. Remember, this is a time to "baby" yourself. Take care. Sue

ssdown 0 Posted March 3, 2008 Hi! My date is March 4! I'm not scared, but am Looking forward to getting it over with. What is it you are scared about? I've never had complete anesthesia and it gives me some pause, but I have faith that this is the correct step for me and I will be fine. So will you. Are you on all liquids right now? I've been drinking all liquids for six days. Tomorrow, all Clear Liquids. How does your surgeon want you to prepare for the surgery?
