Desdemona 48 Posted October 10, 2008 Christine-- Huh? I THINK I know what you mean but I hope you can say more. I just got a 1cc fill today--and they said I have a total of 6cc now. I'm on liquids for a couple of days now. I do so hope that this is finally a sweet spot.
nurse niki 0 Posted October 10, 2008 Rhonda--Isn't it funny how young girls are so excited to get "into" a bra...but us women can't to get out of one!!!
ajoneen 0 Posted October 10, 2008 I guess Fenton has slipped off the radar again. The stupid scale is moving again. I've been writing down every bit of food to pass my lips. A new Duncan Donuts just opened around the corner from me. I have to pass it when I drive anywhere. I can SMELL the donuts. This is the biggest test for me so far. I've been having some stress at work this past month. Im in financial services, primarily pension plans. Everyday, every hour I have to put out $$fires. I live for the weekends when the Markets are closed and I don't have to answer the same ?s over and over. Tess- welcome to two-ville. On the bra front- I think we all feel better when the girls are well supported. Have a good weekend everyone. I have to go my phone is ringing, again. Emmersglue 0 Posted October 10, 2008 It is state fair time here. I am looking forward to going this year. I think I will be able to walk around and keep up with everyone instead having to stop and rest a lot. The hard part will be walking by all the food stands, especially the corn dogs. You might find that after six months of "clean living" your tastes have changed. Sometimes even the smell of the greasy food like that turns my stomach.......YEAH!! Tess415 1 Posted October 11, 2008 A new Duncan Donuts just opened around the corner from me. I have to pass it when I drive anywhere. I can SMELL the donuts. This is the biggest test for me so far. I have a donut tale to tell: Last weekend after an awful week of stress!!! My DH came home in the morning from working the night shift and announced that he brought home some donuts from a nearby bakery (THE REALLY GOOD ONE'S!). I was already up and getting ready, so by the time I was going to go downstairs DH was in bed ready to sleep... well, I gave him the evil eye:angry: and told him we have discussed this already before, I don't care if he eats donuts, just buy what he wants and eat them. Do not buy a dozen, we don't need a dozen!!! So now I have to go down in the kitchen and deal with the donuts!!! Calling my name, looking and watching me!!! So he says... Just leave 'em alone. I didn't buy them for you. I bought them for the kids and me! What a Jacka$$!!:w00t: I head off and of course, I find myself in the donut box, got my paws on a double chocolate cake donut with chocolate frosting YUM! I get 3 bites in and it stuck!!! UGHHH!!! I know... serves me right!!! The only thing left to do is yell up stairs and wake up DH and tell him I went for the chocolate one and now its stuck after a few bites!!!! He didn't give a hoot... but at least I got to bother him wihile he was trying to sleep!!!!:smile2:
mylah 0 Posted October 12, 2008 Hey Tess I know the feeling,I can't do donuts, cakes or pastries they all get stuck.I guess thats a good thing for me because I hate the stuck feeling I get sooooooooo uncomfortable. I had another fill last week I started really watching things since monday and exercising again. Finally this morning down to 240.I have been hovering at 241-243 since the end of aug.so I was thrilled to see that this morning.3lbs to 50lbs gone.Hopefully by the end of oct. I too had to buy new bras down to 46 from 50.had to buy a few pairs of pants down to 2x from 6x. I love my band. Keep up the great work everyone we are doing wonderful:thumbs_up: Pat
nurse niki 0 Posted October 12, 2008 Tess--You are not alone. I got caught with my fingers in the donut box, too! I went to a parent meeting friday morning at my DD's school, and they had donuts and coffee for the parents. I took one, mostly out of habit, and was hoping that it would not go down very well. WRONG, over the 30 min meeting I ate the entire thing! Bad Girl!!! Maybe I should call about another fill. The scale has not been moving very well, and I am able to eat way more than I should. On the other hand, I am not making the best food choices...hmmm, maybe I will give it another week.
SpecialK 22 Posted October 12, 2008 I live alone so I'll be thankful that I don't have anyone to blame except for myself if tempting things find their way inside my house...but I can believe how hard it is when someone you love puts temptation in your path. I tripped up in the candy aisle at the store with a Reese's cup packet that called my name with all the aisles of Halloween candy everywhere and such a bargain on sale (2 for $1) but not a bargain if it takes time to lose those pounds again. Keep on shrinking Shamrocks... step away from the candy and donuts!
HarleyGirl 1 Posted October 12, 2008 Woke up to FIVE inches of SNOW this morning.......news said that some of the higher elevations got up to 28"....skiers will be happy....I am not.
Tess415 1 Posted October 12, 2008 Whew!!! I avoided another donut tale, DH brought some more home... I am beginning to see a pattern!!!! Harley - I ordered free samples from Everyday Minerals and am using it today for the first time... I think I like it. I work 12 hour shifts, does it last the day for you? I am not a "primper" I get ready in the am and that's it. Don't have time for touch ups.
