anniedub 0 Posted June 27, 2008 Yay I broke the 250 mark!!! I have not been here in years....and years. I cancelled my fill for today. I think my restriction is good for now. Have a great day! Christine Woohoo, go Team Christine!
Fenton 3 Posted June 27, 2008 I have big arms and the bodybugg is fine - it comes with two straps, and the large strap could accommodate an arm MUCH bigger than mine. They didn't try and cheapen out over a couple of inches of velcro... As far as Is it worth it? goes, I think that for me, it is. I hate that there's a monthly fee - or a yearly one - that seems just about highway robbery, particularly if you're not logging in any food (I think their food log system blows, btw), and only need to go online to adjust your current weight. But I find it very motivating to know that I've burned less calories or taken fewer steps than I'd thought - I'll go out and do extra exercise to hit my calorie burn or steps goals. Still, I'm quietly outraged about the ongoing web fees. Others who log their food consumption very carefully are probably more satisfied with that than I am. I'm OK with people not spotting my weight loss, and am in no rush to buy more clothes that I'll quickly undergrow. I have a bunch of pants to cover the entire range of my waist's experience, but for some reason I have far fewer shirts, and some of the extra-big shirts I have were handmade for me last year in beautiful Sea Island cotton; I don't want to give them up! So I'm content to be billowing for the forseeable future.

mylah 0 Posted June 27, 2008 Hey Sharon, you are probably right I shouldn't eat a full hamburger or sandwich but I am staying within my calorie range I hope that makes a difference.I do do my daily 30 minute exercise sometimes a little more.Iwas able to do 50 yesterday.I'm going for a fill monday because doc. says I should not be able to eat a full sandwich especially not the bread.I am fine in the morning though.I find this all so confusing I get a fill and feel restriction or what I believe is my sweet spot and bam 3-4 days later back to the same old me.Maybe I need a shrink:bored: I'm puzzled Pat Fenton what is the monthly cost for the bugg.I wish my journey was moving as nice as yours, congrats by the way even if I am soooooooo jealous. I am still very happy for you:thumbup:
westcoastmom 3 Posted June 27, 2008 I have enjoyed reading so many of your posts here - you are all so supportive of each other. I have to admit I feel a bit like I am stepping into your already formed group, I bit of a 3rd wheel... I agree with your recent comments about some new fitting clothes making a difference. It took me a while to buy a few things. But it was even surprising to me to see what a difference I saw when I wore a shirt that actually fit. Are any of you having trouble with clothes? I think I have a difficult shape that I will just have to deal with. I could still wear plus size (especially on the top), but seem to need the cut of non-plus size. But I certainly should not complain about needing smaller sizes. I have stalled a bit in losing weight too. I have lost 40 pounds since surgery at the end of March. I know I should get a fill (I have only gotten .3 ccs) - but I am still eating small amounts. I guess I will have to get moving more! I will have to get some motivation from all the things you all do. Or I could just do some Irish dancing with my girls...
texgirl 0 Posted June 27, 2008 Wow Westcoast!! You are doing great!! I am struggling toward that 40 lb mark! I have trouble with pants fitting. If they are right in the legs I can pull them up to my bra. That's been my struggle as long as I've been overweight though. I think they designers think that as you get bigger around you also get taller!
lynnt1215 1 Posted June 27, 2008 I have issues with pants fittinf too!! If the waist fits, the legs are way too baggy. I think I have finally found a brand that fits well, at least for now... Shirts, I am able to buy in the misses department, no more Women's dept. it is actualy fun to go out shopping now...
westcoastmom 3 Posted June 27, 2008 I have the same problem with pulling pants up to my bra texgirl. I am low waisted and big belly-ed. I feel like I need pants 2 sized bigger for my waist than for my hips and bum. Not to mention that my arms and chest will always need a bigger size than the rest of me... Fenton 3 Posted June 27, 2008 Oh, psshaw, WCM! There are no third wheels in this loose collection of high grade neurotics and incorrigible divas, just a handful of wallflowers who're waiting for the right moment to jump in! So.... Guess who got a Wii Fit on his way home??? (Hint: Me)

westcoastmom 3 Posted June 28, 2008 We have thought about the wii fit a bit too - but I am an evil Mom. My girls don't have game boys and we don't let them watch TV (other than a movie on the weekend). So now without electrongic games in the house we are afraid to bring them in. We may be sucked in! We will have to live vicariously through you all for a while...
