thin2bme 2 Posted April 7, 2008 Erika, the staples coming out were a piece of cake. I could hardly tell he was doing anything and I know you'll feel 100% better. :purplebananna: Well I've gotten my Breakfast and lunch ready to go for in the morning, it's off to work I go for the first time since surgery March 19. Dreading going back, but have to pay bills, yuck, yuck!! I guess part of dreading going back is getting up @ 5:30 and having to be at work @ 7:00a.m. and working 10 hour days so don't get off til 5:30p.m. It will be a long day, but I'm sure I'll survive. Patricia France 0 Posted April 7, 2008 Hi all! I have found that the Vitamin gumballs are the best! You just chew them for 10 minutes and you get all the Vitamins you need. Here is the website where you can find out where to buy them. They arent the best tasting and it takes time to get used to it. it was great to have especially during the liquid stage. Where to buy Regular Vitaball I hope this helps someone!!!:purplebananna:

Patricia France 0 Posted April 7, 2008 I got your picture on my email when it notified me of the new post. They do look really red, mine were a bit itchy but nothing like that! I would definitely try some topical anti itch cream around the incisions first.
lynnt1215 1 Posted April 7, 2008 Terri - please let me know how back to work went. I go back Wednesday. 3 weeks after surgery. my day is only 8 hours, god bless you with a 10 hr work day. I am glad I had the ability to take the time off. even though i have a desk job, most of the time i am up and down all day. I have issues still with sitting for anything longer than 30-45 minutes at a time. place of my incisions seems to be the irritant for that. They were so happy to hear i am coming back to work they told me to wear sweat pants if I would feel better. and the office dress is casual dress, but not sweats. Harley & Terri - What type of things are you taking for lunch? We have a full cafeteria avaialble but little is low fat. looks like it could be lots of low fat cottage cheese, Soups and yogurt from home, at least for the mushie stage! jencys 2 Posted April 7, 2008 Woo hoo! I'll do a little dance for you! Careful with the red incisions... if they are leaking anything I'd call your doctor. Some redness is part of the healing process. I have blisters around one incision, not sure what touched there but my body didn't like it! The other incisions are all fine
ggb64 0 Posted April 7, 2008 Same thing. I was banded on 3/7 and am being filled tomorrow. I have not felt restriction since Easter Sunday. Desperate for that. Two weeks before surgery weighed 267 and now 239. Wish it were more but my lion is roaring all the time now. I do not eat more than the 2 ounces at a time but eat more often. can't wait for tomorrow :Dancing_wub:
