My name is Darlene, which someone is already using, but please call me D'.

I am being referred out for the lapband surgery. I have researched gastric bypass, seen the good, the bad and the ugly of that surgery and have decided against it. Several cousins have had the lapband surgery and are doing great. I'm anxious yet ready. I have been heavy since 7th grade. And am just tired of carrying this weight around. I have tried Weight Watchers for 2 years, lost 25 lbs and put 15 back on. I have tried over the counter meds, but each time my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my body, so I quit taking them. I have alot of questions. So get ready.
