double suture by dr. rumbaut

I am being banded by dr. rumbaut on march 13. He said he sutures in the front annd the back of the stomach to prevent slippage. How common is slippage? It of s seems alot of people have issues with this even though they say its not common:confused:

From what I understand with my doctor this is the procedure now as there is alot less slippage now. It is a good thing

Slips are NOT very common and every surgeon keeps records on complications. Ask yours what his is. It sounds like you're in good hands.
