glynda 0 Posted February 21, 2008 Hello....I was just banded on 2/15/08 , and yesturday I noticed that one side of my stomach (where the port is located), appears to be slightly larger than the other side of my stomach (feeling across):confused2:. Can anyone shed any light on if this is normal or not.... I am so paranoid :tongue2: because I want this to work soooo bad, like others, I have tried every diet known to man and have not been sucessful for a long period of time. seajules 0 Posted February 21, 2008 My stomach felt the same after I was banded. I think It is because of the swelling. Mine has gone down and feels equal now. I can feel the port under the skin and it is still a little bit tender. Keep reading and keep posting it helps. Welcome to bander land:thumbup:
glynda 0 Posted February 21, 2008 Thank you for the response. I really love having somewhere to come to ask these questions to see what others have experienced.
4jin 0 Posted February 22, 2008 My swelling has gone down as well. I can feel my port. But it should be even and on the outside not even look like you have it.

Angie4b1g 1 Posted February 22, 2008 I can feel it if I push on it, but it definitely doesn't look different on the outside. Well, except the big honkin bruise. LOL
4jin 0 Posted February 23, 2008 I was banded on 2/4/08. I don't have bruises thank goodness. They injected me with something or the other so I wouldn't bruise. That I remember. Glynda just like Angie says if you press on it you can feel it. But most definitely can't see it. The first time I went out into the world after surgery was to a mall. I felt weird...but reassured and happy inside because I felt like I have this secret misile that will help me fight the weight war!
