Has anyone been approved by medcost/perferred. I have a BMI of 45, I have sleep apnea, type II diabetes,high cholsetrol, several back pain. Do any of these factors help in getting approved. I have heard it will help?

I don't know anything about medcost but you fit the criteria of most insurance plans that cover bariatric surgery. Many plans also require a medically supervised diet for 3 - 6 months.

My husband is a CHS employee, we have Medcost preffered and I was told they do cover it. Im sure you can call and ask in order to double check.
