I don´t know what to do anymore, first I took me 1year and 8 months to make up my mind that I have no choice but to do something drastic in my life to change my eating habbits and lose weight or I´m not going to be arround much longer, but the closer I get to choosing a doctor the more confusing it gets, any advise...

You just have to put one foot in front of the other - do your research on the doctors you want to go to - make an appointment and interview them - then choose who you feel most comformtable with.

Take it one step and you will work thru this - It's hard to give up your best friend food - and you may be putting blocks up to deter your getting healthy - the longer you wait the more damage you are doing to your body ..

The informational meetings are usually free and banded people are there to answer questions. Start dialing surgeons' offices and scheduling yourself for these sessions. You'll meet the surgeons and his/her staff as well as others who are where you're at. Good luck!
