How long did it take for you to lose your weight? My goal weight is 125-140.

so I have around 70 more pounds to go.

Teresa,

It had been a long time since I had weighed in Onederland too. It IS a good feeling. Cheers for you.

I am feeling the same as you caligal I am at 198.5 as of about 5 mins. ago. I started the journy at 226 in Dec. I am debating another fill. What size is your band and much fill do you have? I have a 10cc band with 3cc in I believe.

Good Morning!!

I have been banded for over a year (Feb 5)

I'm in ONEDERLAND as well,

I started at 250

Currently at 183

First few months were my most rapid loss, from there on it has been terribly slow.........if I average it out...about half a pound every 2 months

I'm fighting to hold on to my 183 (I've been as low as 180, for a day!!!)

I have about 50 more to go... my fill is at 4.4 in a 4cc band. So I think anything I get below 180 will be excellent!!!

I love my band

I never could keep the weight off without it.

Good luck to all my fellow 40's

I am a 10cc band and have 4.5cc in it. I am scheduled for another fill in mid-March.

I would get another fill. If it gets too tight the doctor can always take someout.

Do you feel like you are at your sweet spot?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
