No fill for me. Im just right, I get stuck on some bread but most things go down .I havent had to pb since I got pregnant. I enjoy being able to eat most things and not feel too guilty. Of course I gained @ 15 lbs in the last few months but whatever!!! I only have 11 weeks left to go and them I can try to get back on track. 77 days until my due date!!!!!!!

That's probably mostly more baby weight.. I def would'nt worry about it. 15lbs is nothing atleast its not 40 or 50lbs of preggy weight!

I have a comfortable restriction now.. I can still eat most things. Felt like something wanted to get stuck this morning but then it went down.. I think it was a peice of BBQ from yesterday.

POINTS® Value: 3

Servings: 10

Preparation Time: 15 min

Cooking Time: 15 min

Level of Difficulty: Moderate

Rich and creamy, you'll never guess that this pie is light. Make two — serve one and freeze the other for up to two weeks.

Ingredients

6 whole reduced-fat cinnamon graham crackers 2 Tbsp butter 11 oz fat-free sweetened condensed milk icon_filling_food.gif 2 large egg(s) 1/2 cup(s) fresh lemon juice 1 Tbsp lemon zest Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  • Grind graham crackers in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Or place crackers in a resealable plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. Place crumbs in a small bowl.
  • Melt butter on stove top or in microwave and pour over graham cracker crumbs, mixing with a fork until completely moistened. Press crumbs evenly onto bottom of a 9-inch pie pan; place crust in refrigerator while preparing lemon filling.
  • In a medium bowl, combine condensed milk and eggs; mix until smooth. Add lemon juice and zest; stir until incorporated and pour into prepared crust.
  • Bake pie for 15 minutes. Cool completely and for best flavor, serve chilled. Yields 1 piece per serving.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
