It is cloudy here but very humid, it is supposed to drop this afternoon.

I went for my walk this morning and was sweating my butt off, I usually do, but there was no sun today so i was kind of shocked.

I was in Orchard Park / East Aurora in December for our company x-mas party, i had a very nice weekend, Stayed at the Roycroft Inn

I live in lancaster, near elma, about 6 miles from east aurora, I have been to the roycroft many times, for different functions, it is beautiful. It is sunny here today, and so it should clear up for u soon....:tongue2:

My former boss, who is still a good friend, lives in Holland. The rooms there are really nice too. The sun is starting to come out but it is still very humid.

well, i'm off for my 2nd walk for the day

I hope my blah blah blah helped. Did you guys try the 5 Day Pouch challange?

Actually I did that and it helped for a few days but I was still in onion ring mode (the pub I go to makes them homemade with homemade batter... yummmmmmm), so it didn't really work

jenn,

i did the challenge and it helped me start losing again

Thanks!

Well.... 21lbs to the personal goal I set 2 years ago... Once I get there I might do another 25... and then I'll be very very happy.

My Dr's goal was where I was 10lbs ago so he is happy I am ready to move forward and prove him wrong

Why Thank You!

it is a nice cool cloudy day here, which normally would make me crazy, but we just scrubbed the entire downstairs - I'm doing laundry and it is all good.

how is everyone's weekend?

Hi everyone, sorry I dont' have time to get online more often. I went and got .5cc fill but Barb said I had 4 to start with not 3.5. I feel the difference but it is not causing problems

Vicki, I eat cashews and pistachios. The pistachios last longer cause you have to open them and you can have twice as many as the cashews. I also like cheddar bunnies which are an organic "goldfish".

I love nuts and goldfish..what are the organic cheddar bunnies made from and where do i get them?

Kuddos to you linda u are doing great for only having 4cc.. I'm at 5.7 and still gaining... I am so scared that this could be where i will be stuck and being in the 200's stinks. I am doing well today, but this is truely like being an alchoholic. I was doing so well until I got the unfill, and then I started eating sweets and now I'm craving Cookies, cakes, icecream, etc....I am so depressed and feel like I am losing the battle of the bulge. anyway, sorry about the blah, blah, blah,

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
