Big brother 9

Recommended Posts

I missed the very first show, but watched tonight. I don't really like the "all single" format. I know they are trying to stir up romance and drama, but a better mix of people is what makes it interesting to me. Maybe it'll get better as I watch more......

I think Jen and Ryan were stupid for telling their partners about their dating for 9 months. I think Ryan's partner is going to tell everyone. I feel sorry for Adam - he is really ugly but it is childish and hurtful how Sheila keeps going on about it!!

just watched the first 2 episodes on Comcast On Demand. I think it is hard to follow the couples. I guess it will be a short season since they are getting rid of 2 at a time. Hope it gets better.

I love Big Brother but I'm not sure about this season yet. I don't like the couple aspect of the show. Sheila is a bitch but Adam is a strange one too. They will probably be the couple to actually fall in love. Wouldn't that be funny!

Hiya BB fans,

this season everyone is nuts x 2 and I am loving it. I am watching the feeds, Showtime BB after dark and of course the CBS show. Oh and dont forget House calls the BB talk show on the web. Wow... I am addicted it seems. I am very excited for a winter BB even if it will be short season and everyone seems to have forgotten about the game because they are matched with their soul mate... yeah right.

Something different this season... Several hook ups in the house already. People are getting busy. Oh poor grandma having to know her darling grand daughters sexual flings live forever on you tube clips.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
