1601 Parkview Ave

Rockford 61107

This will be at the College of Medicine on Parkview Ave. which is directly across the street from Anderson Gardens south of Spring Creek and the first street east of N. 2nd St/251. As you enter the campus turn at the first left and come up to the top of the hill. There should be parking available there (including handicapped). Otherwise there is also parking down the hill. Come in the door with the red awning and to the left of the entrance there is both an elevator and steps that go to the second floor. You will be in the waiting room of University Psychiatric Services. I will be available by 6:45. Let's meet for about an hour and talk about if the space is adequate and whether or not people want to take turns presenting a topic or just chat each time about issues. Let's see what we need. There is no charge to use this space and we should have plenty of chairs. For questions, please PM at this web site.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
