Illinois Woman 0 Posted February 13, 2008 I've just been approved today by Healthlink after a 6 month physician supervised weight loss program. (You all know how THAT went, if I could do it THAT way I would have) and now I have to go on the liver shrinking diet. I"m seeing lots of different diets. All liquid, South Beach, or none at all? My BMI is 42, and Dr. said I wouldn't have to be on it a LONG time, but still. I have to meet the dietician on the 19th of Feb. Any suggestions how to get thru this part?:biggrin2:
losingjusme 12 Posted February 13, 2008 WOOO HOOO!!! congratulations. it all depends on what your doctor suggests. you just need to basically suck it up and do it. its for the surgeon's (and ultimately your) benefit. you can do it!!
Illinois Woman 0 Posted February 13, 2008 That's kind of what I figured. Looks like you've done GREAT! Tummy Tuck! Is that hard to get insurance to approve? Or do they at all?
Lively 0 Posted November 13, 2008 I am so happy for u. I was beyond myself when I got approved a month ago and when setting up my appointment for surgery, they realized that they approved me under the wrong code so please verify that all codes are correct so you wont have to wait more than needed. But again supper great we are both on the road to success:thumbup:
