irideaqh 0 Posted February 12, 2008 Does anyone know if Tricare pays for fills?
Wheetsin 714 Posted February 12, 2008 I'm not sure, I helped my parents (TriCare) with their paperwork, but did not look at fills specifically. You could always call and ask. I don't know if fills have their own medical code - mine are coded as "office visit" -- so maybe ask about the maintenance.
minpinmom 2 Posted February 13, 2008 I can't imagine that they wouldn't. I have had Tricare forever, and they really take care of you, as long as it isn't an excluded procedure. It may be hard for us at first, since we are the first Lapband cases they will be seeing, but I can't imagine them not covering it.
redy4change 0 Posted July 26, 2011 I pray they pay for fill in my life changing date is aug 17 and without fill in the surgery is in vain
Mimilou2004 13 Posted July 26, 2011 Tricare does pay for fills, I have TC Standard and pay about 20% of the cost which is $500. So I pay about $100 per adjustment. Mimi
Dave_NW 92 Posted July 26, 2011 I have Tricare Prime, and I've never paid for a fill. They're billed as "S2083 - Adjustment gastric band". Dave
