Hi Tinkerbell,

Speaking as a long term bandster (20 months), it was the best decision that I have ever made. I have no real problems to speak of . I have no regrets except that I wish the lapband was available when I was younger.

No regrets at all!!! I was so scared before hand thinking, what am I doing?? Why can't I just do it myself... You are going to be so happy!!! You will even find yourself talking to it.. Ok maybe ONLY I do that.. LOL... Good luck, and please keep us posted!!

I've NEVER regretted it even though I have had some major setbacks (reflux) and struggles (head battles and sloooooow weight loss and looooong plateaus).

I hopped on a plane to France two months after finding out about the band. I was totally at peace with my decision then, and that still holds true today despite the fact that I don't consider it a "perfect" solution.
